Freebase is a powerful new way to organize information that has great potential to improve bird conservation decisions. A new powerpoint presentation done by Ed Laurent (Science coordinator at American Bird Conservancy) entitled: "Freebase.com: a tool for bird conservation" has just been released. |

Presentations from the workshop "Designing monitoring programs for state wildlife action plans" at the 2008 Wildlife Society meeting in Miami. Instructors were John Alexander, John Sauer, Laurel Moore-Barnhill, Karen Kinkead, and Rua Mordecai. Both powerpoints and video are included. Due to technical difficulties, videos are only available for some of the presentations from the workshop. Beware, the volume is a little low. |
