Welcome to our test area for new web-based tools. These tools are still under development so feel free to try them out and tell us what you think.
When searching over the entire internet, it can be difficult to find species-specific information on ongoing research and conservation. This tool is a customized search engine that only searches selected websites (e.g., Joint Ventures, National PIF, SEPIF website). Loading Micro-blogging tools (e.g. Twitter, Friendfeed) provide a quick and easy way to exchange information. Unlike email, information can be made public and is permanently archived. We are now experimenting with Friendfeed as an additional tool for sharing information related to bird conservation.
